But not because the directions on the packaging will in whatsoever imaginary or real universe work or help you continue your hope to not cuss today.  That was painfully annoying and didn't hardly work AT ALL.  Specially with thick upholstery textile.  It gave me flashbacks to the time I made ten gabillion "campaign buttons" when my blood brother ran for 7th Grade President.  He won, btw.  I know y'all were on the edge of your seat in that location….  Anyway – a few tweaks, and THIS push button making project was smooooth sailing.  Take hold of these simple supplies to make this SO Like shooting fish in a barrel on yourself:

  • Gorilla Glue (I similar these single use tubes since the lid volition glue itself close when you put information technology away.  Every. Single. Time.)
  • a bottle of Modernistic Podge
  • a lilliputian paintbrush {Experience free to steal information technology out of your kids' watercolors.  You demand to teach them some life lessons anyhow, so this is actually multi-tasking}
  • a Pigment Stir Stick (free at your local hardware or home improvement shop usually!) or a wood chip you have hangin' around your garage.
  • Your Hot Glue Gun or a strong, quick drying mucilage/adhesive perhaps similar some Super Glue?
  • Your trustyHammer

But if yous are using thicker, upholstery fabric, it will not be as bully and securely STUCK on at that place so information technology's SUPER IMPORTANT that y'all did the Gorilla Glue steps to a higher place.  You might even want to take it i more step like this and paint some Modernistic Podge on the back and then that the cloth edges are really in at that place and won't fifty-fifty THINK virtually fraying or separating out.
